“Citizens Act” Small Grants Program supports innovative quick-impact activities to address emerging needs through advocacy actions or targeted community development projects.
Through the program, MPSCS supports Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) throughout Moldova to:
- Provide a rapid response to emerging and unanticipated opportunities for quickly solving of citizens’ and/or vulnerable groups’ issues;
- Promote specific changes in communities by making an active contribution to their development;
- Implement initiatives that ensure appropriate citizen oversight and carry out “watchdog” activities to improve accountability and transparency.
Supported projects have a duration between three months and one year.
