1.    Building successful partnerships with business sector  

a.    3-4 workshops for selected Civil Society Organizations (CSO) and business sector representatives from different regions of Moldova

b.    Follow up activities: quarterly visits to participants, arranging participants meetings with interested stakeholders, periodical informal meetings between participants (cluster clubs), exchange of experience and other individual technical assistance to participants

c.    Create at least 2-3 business sector-CSOs functional partnerships, increase the level of funding for CSOs activities from the business sector

d.    National conference on business sector-CSOs partnerships, provide recommendations on how to stimulate this partnerships, bring international expertise if needed

e.    Develop and widely disseminate a short but practical study on how to build successful business sector-CSOs partnerships in Moldova

2.    Enhancing the leadership and public/media speaking capacities of the CSOs leaders

a.    3-4 workshops for selected CSOs leaders from different regions of Moldova

b.    Follow up activities: quarterly visits to participants; arranging participants meetings with media, public opinion makers and other stakeholders; periodical informal meetings between participants (cluster clubs);exchange of experience and other individual technical assistance to participants

c.    Develop and disseminate short but practical materials using concrete local examples for CSOs on how to promote themselves and develop lasting cooperation with media and other stakeholders etc

3.    Creating and developing CSOs networks

a.    3-4 workshops and follow up activities for selected CSOs from different regions of Moldova

b.    Periodical informal meetings between participants (cluster clubs), exchange of experience and other individual technical assistance to participants

c.    Create or strengthen at least 2-3 functional sectorial or general CSOs networks including all regions of Moldova

d.    Develop and disseminate a study on the Moldovan CSOs national and international networking capacities

4.    Strengthening training capacities of civil society organizations trainers

a.    3-4 workshops and follow up activities (coaching) for selected CSOs representatives from different regions of Moldova. Use local and/or international trainer of trainers.

b.    Periodical informal meetings between participants (cluster clubs),meetings with national and /or international experts, assistance to participants to attend national or international trainings and/or on-line courses, exchange of experience and other individual technical assistance to participants

c.    Develop and widely disseminate a data base of experienced CSOs trainers

Qualified bidding organizations are encouraged to submit their offers on one or more of the above areas.

Activities and materials will be delivered in Romanian and/or Russian and will reach all regions of Moldova including the region of Transnistria.

Timeframe of performance for delivering services is: February 2011 – October 15, 2011.

The amount of subcontract will depend on the number of bidders recommended for award and on the number of areas covered by each bidder. AED projects to spend no more than 150,000.00 MDL for one training area.
